Do you have an Interest to be a Regional Director?
Hello,
Are you interested in being a Regional Director for the Cosworth Vega Owners Association? Unfortunately, there is a vacancy opening in the Northeast Region Here is some of the Roles and Responsibilities needed for the position.
1) Be an Active, Dues Paying Member of the CVOA. And, have completed the Sign Up process to the new website, www.cosworthvega.com
2) Notify through e-mail and/ or phone to other Members in your Region when their dues are expired, or about to expire. There is an admin page to the www.cosworthvega.com website that will give you access to the Membership Database, allowing you to view your Regional Members and their Membership Expiration dates
3) Monitor and participate in the CVOA website Northeast Regional Forum. This is a sounding board for Members to ask questions, post pictures, update progress about their cars, and to be a main conduit for the Member directly to their Regional Director.
4) Monitor, Maintain, Update, and Participate on the Northeast Regional Website that is a part of the CVOA Website. This is the central hub for the Northeast Region. The RD is responsible to add material regularly to their webpage, noting updates of Members, Members projects, and also to help plan any Regional Events or Notices. (the Regional page use a WIX format, you will be responsible to get acclimated to it. Our Webmaster and myself will help you to get familiar with it, and how to use it.)
5) Organize and Facilitate at least one Regional Meet per year in their Region. This can be or as small as you want. The Requirement is designed to get Members to participate with each other. With Regions being so large, the RD does not have to attend the Regional Meet, just ensure one happens in their Region. The definition of a Regional Meet is three or More Members participating in an event, preferably with their cars. (Meeting at a local Car show is more than acceptable, its encouraged!)
6) Monitor and Maintain contact with Regional Members. The easiest way is to use the Forums and the Regional Webpage, but at times you will be asked to send messages directly to the Regional Members, usually via e-mail. Yes, there are some Members who do not like e-mail, so you would be responsible to contact them via phone.
7) You will be the voice of your Region. There will be an online Yearly Directors Meeting, that you will be asked to participate in. This will be a meeting that helps to guide the direction of the CVOA from year to year.
If you are interested, please let me know. I would like to fill this position soon to ensure the Members in this Region are taken care of properly. If you have any questions, PLEASE, dont hesitate to contact me!
